ABRA Software becomes the 100% owner of FLORES Software

ABRA Software is growing, its current turnover is 350 million crowns. “The acquisition of FLORES reflects the natural evolution of cooperation. We share the same values, develop complementary products and can enrich each other. Be it in terms of the professionals on our teams, our technologies or business processes. The FLORES information system is very well known and successful, especially with manufacturing companies, and will therefore complement our product portfolio,” explains Jaroslav Řasa, founder of ABRA Software.

ABRA will thus add more highly qualified professionals to its team and enrich its product portfolio with specialized solutions, for example for manufacturing companies. The FLORES information system is developed over ABRA Software’s Nexus core. This technology gives the application a three-layer open architecture and advanced development tools. A modern API is available for communication with the system, which ABRA also uses in its applications, be it the all-in-one ABRA Gen ERP or ABRA Flexi accounting software for smaller businesses.

ABRA & FLORES. Two companies, one story.

The teams at both companies were formed in the 1990s, but each took a slightly different path in the early years. The ABRA Software team decided to develop its own information system, the other to sell and implement the Ostrava K2. By 2008, it employed a hundred people and attained a consolidated turnover of CZK 130 million. Following disputes with the software manufacturer, it started developing its own IS FLORES software over the Gen core in 2009, based on a strategic contract with ABRA, and their shared story began…
